Results
All 37 participants received at least one treatment, and only two subjects did not complete 3 month follow up. Among those who completed the study, the mean age of all participants was 58 ± 9.4 years and 97% were female (Table 4). Participants were Fitzpatrick II and III, with 71% Fitzpatrick skin type II and 29% Fitzpatrick type III.

Study Conclusion
The 2910 nm laser provided improvement in photoaging using both a series of superficial ablative settings with focal deeper ablative settings and a single deeper ablative treatment. Both treatment groups had high patient satisfaction, high safety profile, minimal downtime, and less anesthesia and pain levels compared to similar ablative devices.
